Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is used in environments where exposure to outside elements doesn’t occur. A rigid, versatile, and high-impact plastic, it offers expectable chemical resistance to most non-aromatic compounds. ABS has a durable satin finish is scratch resistant, and excellent for applications where cosmetic appeal is desired.
High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) is a rigid, economical, light-weight plastic with good impact strength and low moisture absorption. Its inherent properties make ideal for thermo formable applications. HIPS typically has a flat finish.
Polyethylene (PE) is very common multi-purpose material used in a wide range of applications. Its durability ranges from flexible (LDPE) to semi-rigid (HDPE). Available in FDA and industrial grades this very economical material has numerous applications.
Polypropylene (PP) is a semi-rigid, light weight, and economical plastic with excellent chemical resistance and a fairly high service temperature. Polypropylene is available in natural (translucent white), standard, and custom colors.
